Hotel Residence Torino Centro

The hotel is new, clean and attractive inside and the staff were very nice and helpful as to how to get around town, to the stadium, airport, etc. and what to see and do. Our room was quite large, with a big balcony, was well appointed and had the most comfortable beds/pillows of any hotel I have stayed in. It was a great choice and good value for the price. It was right next to the Porta Susa train and metro stations, with a bus stop at the front door for going into town and at the station for going to the stadium and airport. I would gladly stay there again.

The breakfast was a little carb. heavy but was ample and adequate. The walk to town around or through the train station is a bit tedious with the construction, but hopefully that will be resolved when it is finished. The convenience of the train and metro were great though.

New hotel, great staff always willing to help and assist. Room is huge and very clean, free wi-fi internet that worked very well, on of main train and subway stations in front of the hotel, great breakfast, great price-value relation compared to other hotels in the city.b

No comments. All was great and as expected.

Location was very convenient. We liked the old part of the facility (seems there is an old and a new, we did not see any rooms in the New part)

It was a comfortable stay for our multi- generational family traveling together. Very thoughtful and helpful staff, especially with small kids. Casual/informal, but still neat, tidy, polite. Fun atmosphere...restore former convent.

The sofa beds we had were not too comfortable, but the regular ones were great.

Location of the hotel was very central and convenient for our stay in Turin. Only 100 meters away from Porto Susa station, from where we could venture into the city for shopping. The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming, and very eager to help us with any enquiry.

Perhaps a lack of a central foyer/room or space to sit and relax or read papers in comfortable chairs.

The staff at the hotel were mostly very helpful advising us of good places to visit and eat. The breakfast included was very nice and the cafe downstairs made great coffee.

The hotel did not use their air conditioning even though they advertised as having air con and you couldn't open the windows in your room as it was far too noisy outside. The location was a bit far from the centre however OK if you are fine with a good stroll. There were a few good restaurants close by but once again you needed to walk a medium distance. This hotel would perhaps be better in winter as is too hot in the spring or summer. The parking is limited if you have a car.

newly refurnished hotel, pleasant staff, excellent cafeteria / restaurant, at very good value. Breakfast was very robust and well served.

The family room had two singles for the kids but an uncomfortable double sofa bed for the parents. Not great for more that 150 euros a night.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, very good value for money, excellent central location

very kind and helpful personnel in the restaurant! despite we arrived late in the evening, they prepared some snack and proposed some nice red wine for us while they were warming up the nursing-bottle for our baby

Clean and tidy,within walking distance of city center,no problems at all.An old building that has been thoughtfully updated.

Rooms are fair size, nice bathrooms.

We chose this hotel as an overnight stop on a train holiday from UK to Italy. Its location is close to Turin's Porto Suavo station and an easy walk to/from there. Clean and tidy, great for a one night stop. Good breakfast buffet
